It’s Friday! And our little man is 6 weeks old. Time flies when you’re eating and sleeping and pooping and crying.

I didn’t get as many posts up this week because we were without our upstairs air conditioner and Lucy had a summer cold and Henry decided that sleeping at night was silly and Emma had three days of camp. But I’m sure you all understand.

So instead, here I am with some iPhone photos to tide you over until I can get another “real” post up.

top row: poolin’; early morning stacking; crazy wall of rain
middle row: sweet boy; homemade blackberry cobbler [dairy free!]; sad vax
bottom row: crazy storm; cooling off; morning

top row: balance ball bouncing through the evening fussy hours; sneaky water drinking out of Emma’s cup; telling Henry about her morning at camp
middle row: eating oatmeal; smoothies for the freezer; epic bedhead
bottom row: Henry and I captured by Emma; strong cross-eyed man; is it clean?

top row: sick toddler; streaker; lone bath while Emma was at tennis with Ken
middle row: eating yogurt without making a mess!; Emma took this of Henry in his swing; nursing him while rubbing her back
bottom row: I love this view; Emma makes friends wherever she goes; real men wear gowns

All pictures taken with iPhone 4S and processed with VSCO Cam, Pixlromatic or straight-up Instagram.

Lucy and Henry

July 16, 2012

in henry,lucy

Remember how I worried about Lucy before Henry arrived? Because she’s such a momma’s girl and is so attached to me?

Well ……..

… I had nothing to worry about.

I mean, I didn’t think that she’d punch him or step on him or choke him or anything like that. I just didn’t know how she would react to having him in “her” space [aka, my lap]. But she has adjusted so well, and I usually spend the majority of my day telling her not to kiss him so much.

I can’t wait to see how their relationship develops over time.

This is my favorite post to post because I take a lot of phone pics. A. LOT.

Did I tell you I got in iPhone? Love it.
Also got a MacBook Air. Love it, too.

I don’t really know when I became an Apple girl, but here I am.

Anyway … InstaFriday time!

how I drink my morning coffee; cute baby, blurry toddler; neigh
bottom’s up; texting; snack times two
summer; reading rock star; home from the pool

fan = free entertainment; playing; here comes trouble
at Henry’s one-month checkup; sweet nap time companion; bogarting sister’s boots
3:18am; sisters; more fan fun

All pictures taken with iPhone 4S and processed with VSCO Cam, Pixlromatic or straight-up Instagram.

We all still have difficulty sometimes saying these words. I’ve called Henry “baby girl” at least once a day since he arrived. Habits are hard to break!

He is already suffering from third child syndrome.

I barely have any “big girl” camera pictures of him.

And these weren’t planned … I didn’t dress him up or pose him or anything. This was just what he was wearing and how he was sleeping at the time.

I feel like I kind of missed out on newborn pictures anyway, because he came into this world all stretched out and huge and NOT newborny at all.

But he’s still a sweet little baby, and I’ll try to work on getting more “real” pictures of him to share with y’all.
