Remember how I worried about Lucy before Henry arrived? Because she’s such a momma’s girl and is so attached to me?
Well ……..
… I had nothing to worry about.
I mean, I didn’t think that she’d punch him or step on him or choke him or anything like that. I just didn’t know how she would react to having him in “her” space [aka, my lap]. But she has adjusted so well, and I usually spend the majority of my day telling her not to kiss him so much.
I can’t wait to see how their relationship develops over time.
This is my favorite post to post because I take a lot of phone pics. A. LOT.
Did I tell you I got in iPhone? Love it.
Also got a MacBook Air. Love it, too.
I don’t really know when I became an Apple girl, but here I am.
Anyway … InstaFriday time!

Linking up with Life Rearranged
We all still have difficulty sometimes saying these words. I’ve called Henry “baby girl” at least once a day since he arrived. Habits are hard to break!
He is already suffering from third child syndrome.
I barely have any “big girl” camera pictures of him.
And these weren’t planned … I didn’t dress him up or pose him or anything. This was just what he was wearing and how he was sleeping at the time.
I feel like I kind of missed out on newborn pictures anyway, because he came into this world all stretched out and huge and NOT newborny at all.
But he’s still a sweet little baby, and I’ll try to work on getting more “real” pictures of him to share with y’all.
swim lessons. laundry. polly pockets. baths. play mats. iPad. the usual.
[Apparently, I didn't brush my girls' hair for the first couple of weeks of Henry's life. Oh well.]
Life is busy, y’all. You may see me posting pictures of us going to the pool or to the library or to the grocery store, but let me go ahead and tell you … none of those things were done without a lot of sweat and probably some tears. And I’m not just talking about the babies, either. Ba-dum-bum-chink.
ANYWAY.
Henry is a month old.
He started out really REALLY chill, but he’s hit some awkward phase where he cries. A Lot. I’ve heard talk about a 4-week fussiness that peaks at 6 weeks and usually tapers off around 8 weeks. So. Only 4 more weeks! Whee?
Don’t get me wrong … I’m not complaining! He’s really a wonderful baby and still has lots of SMILES and GRINS and just overall cuteness. But this is life. He’s in a fussy period. Emma is in an arguing phase. Lucy is super clingy. I blog honestly about how things are going and THIS is how things are going right now.
The girls love their baby brother, and we love having him here in our little family. He completes us in so many ways.
And since I tend to use my phone camera more than my big camera, here are some Instagram shots of our daily life …
I am kelihoskins on IG if you’re there.
