DJ: June 1-20 Trade Deficit Y261.78bn, Up 118% On Year

TOKYO--Japan posted a merchandise trade deficit of Y261.78 billion in the first 20 days of June, more than double the Y119.65 billion deficit in the year-earlier period, the finance ministry said Friday.

The figures are measured on the basis of goods passing customs and are reported before adjustment for seasonal factors.
