Dear My friend who lives in my loving country,
Japan is becoming warmer and warmer.
Yesterday, we just had the summer solstice, the day which daytime is longest.
In Japanese, the summer solstice is written as “reaching summer.”
It means that summer begins from yesterday.
However, today’s weather is cloudy with occasional fine rain.
It is like the weather of London, where you live and I love dearly.
When the summer passes, I will start looking for an old car made in England again.
I want Bristol 405. Cars made in 1950’s are still attractive to me.
I definitely want to visit showrooms in Bristol, but I cannot make a purchase there.
To be exact, “I cannot make a purchase because they are too expensive.”
Today, my son and I went to a neighborhood canal to harvest shrimps and crawfish.
Okayama, where I live, is a provincial city surrounded by nature.
Moreover, it has a great garden, which is called Korakuen,
a park belongs to a castle where a feudal lord lives in.
Castles in Edinburgh, old castles in Inverness,
and their gardens, where I visited in the past, were amazing, too,
but Korakuen in Okayama is also beautiful.
I am looking forward to seeing you and get drunk together with Highland Scotch.
I will go to London sometime within this year with my wife and two kids.
My wife is also looking forward to seeing you.
