[16/6 23:43 GMT] <duraru> Did Knight in the Area get cancelled this week like half the other shows?
[16/6 23:13 GMT] <()blivion> Taking anything in this chat box seriously (other than sticky's), Is a terrible idea that I do not recommend. It's like using /b/ as a suicide hotline.
[16/6 23:03 GMT] <Dark_Pride> > taking Dark_Sage seriously
[16/6 22:45 GMT] <()blivion> Dark_Sage uses "flame bait"... It's supper effective! (PS: I hate Pokemon, and Zero no Tsukaima wasn't amazing)
[16/6 22:39 GMT] <Krudda> Tablecat: Unfortunately, you're about 2 1/2 weeks late. That's not cool.
[16/6 21:18 GMT] <Sigh-Fansubs> Tablecat: nonotreally ┐('~`;)┌
[16/6 21:11 GMT] <doremi> Mouretsu Pirates is awesome. Shit just got real.
[16/6 20:58 GMT] <Tablecat> I can post messages now. Am I cool yet?
[16/6 20:45 GMT] <Dark_Sage> I wish he died already. Deserves it for unleashing that sack of shit series on the world.
[16/6 20:05 GMT] <zakaruto> Author Yamaguchi Noboru posted on his Twitter that he has been writing Zero no Tsukaima novel while under treatment for the terminal cancer. He disclosed the illness last July and took a surgery last August. He said he lost his hair due to the side effect of the anti-cancer drugs. The side effect of the drugs prevents him from writing for two-thirds of the month and he works slowly during the rest of the month. He said he wondered if it's better to stop writing the novel because he could not work with his full strength but he decided to deliver the novel to the readers since that's the only thing he can do and that's his everything. Source: Yamaguchi's Twitter account (YOU GOT MY RESPECT.)
[16/6 19:37 GMT] <mascthemoney> The ED is catchy as hell though. Gotta love those MCZ Overalls.
[16/6 18:27 GMT] <ThaSaint> @LelouchxXxCC watch it, its good in the beginning, becomes a little bit dull around ep 7-10 and after it becomes good again...
[16/6 17:58 GMT] <alesandre> *only
[16/6 17:56 GMT] <alesandre> Moretsu Pirates? No, oly 6,5/10.
[16/6 17:42 GMT] <GbitOptServerline> @LelouchxXxCC: I'm at episode 21, so far, so good. It has good action, humor, some drama, but you have to be able to withstand cute girls doing cute things every now and then.
[16/6 17:17 GMT] <LelouchxXxCC> GUYS !!! is " Moretsu Pirates" watchable ?????
[16/6 15:36 GMT] <GbitOptServerline> I can be contacted through the PM and thread on the Doom9 forum, you can e-mail me, and you can create tickets on the Sourceforge tracker. I'm regularly on the #mpc-hc and #mpc-hc-dev IRC channels as well. When approaching the software development communty, please be careful with subjects that even remotely smell like piracy.
[16/6 14:50 GMT] <mascthemoney> Is there any other place more fit for a MPC-HC dev?
[16/6 14:50 GMT] <twonline> Discard my comment about image saving, seems like I left xy-VSFilter and internal subtitle filter both enabled.
[16/6 14:45 GMT] <twonline> And seems like scaling bug of internal subtitle filter was fixed as well.
[16/6 14:45 GMT] <twonline> With 5142i build you can save images with subtitles, even when using internal subtitle renderer.
[16/6 14:39 GMT] <GbitOptServerline> A few hundred revisions, you can read all of them on https://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/mpc-hc/timeline . The most recent build I made is an intermediate, by the way (mpc-hc tester dfr5142i, can be found on the last page of the thread).
[16/6 14:13 GMT] <twonline> What's the difference between revision 4739 and 5050;
[16/6 13:15 GMT] <GbitOptServerline> http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=161047&page=53 On the same board there are the main MPC-HC thread, MadVR thread and lots of other threads from similar software. In the OP of the MPC-HC thread are the links for the IRC channels and official support tracker. @Krudda: much appreciated, we're currently low on pretty much everything, from administrative chatterboxes to nerdy assembly writers. We already have a few members from the anime community already, by the way. (3 out of 9 authors in total, of which one has been an active fansub 'employee').
[16/6 12:28 GMT] <twonline> @GbitOptServerline can you give me the URL to your builds of MPC.
[16/6 11:54 GMT] <Krudda> Though I can ask some friends from IRC, They work with code all the time and are constantly looking for new projects to undertake. I'll ask them
[16/6 11:53 GMT] <Krudda> lol, sorry, can't I don't work with code. I am pushing it just trying to learn to "properly" encode video. Audio is a different story, but meh, unrelated
[16/6 10:42 GMT] <GbitOptServerline> Sure. Will you add a few developers to the team to 'translate' the old renderer into a new one? I'm pretty much the only one working specifically on renderer code right now.
[16/6 10:41 GMT] <felessan> can someone seed #115280? am at 96.6%, pretty please? ;)
[16/6 10:31 GMT] <Krudda> both my laptop and desktop support DX10 (I "think" my laptop supports DX11) so I'd be able to make good use of it
[16/6 10:30 GMT] <Krudda> so release a "relatively new computer only" version :P
[16/6 09:24 GMT] <GbitOptServerline> You can use my builds, those solve some issues. (Feedback on the D9 forum is appreciated for both my projects and madVR, b.t.w..) The fundamental issue with the subtitle renderer is the old, slow GDI rendering system. I'd like to update it, but unfortunately, the DirectX 10+ renderer is only available for Vista and onwards, and with recent video cards.
[16/6 09:08 GMT] <twonline> Current version of both MPC's subtitle render and xy-VSFilter is not very good.
[16/6 09:07 GMT] <twonline> madVR renderer gives you the best picture quality. But subtitle rendering is limited to MPC's internal subtitle renderer and xy-VSFilter.
[16/6 09:01 GMT] <GbitOptServerline> @vivan: To put things into perspective, the EVR is technically a whole lot better than its predecessor VMR-9. Media Foundation was introduced along with it, wich I definitly like. However, it's implementation renderer is still only a 2006 video renderer, mostly made to suit low-end systems at that time. EVR CP was made to enhance the video renderer's quality by using custom resizers, blending OSD screens, blending subtitles using the native color format of the subtitle renderers and more. EVR is loaded externally to only do deinterlacing and conversion to R'G'B'. Unfortunately, graphics driver makers enable all sorts of ugly filters for it by default. (The control panel of your graphics driver has a video tab for this.) In short, I do like the EVR's functional interfaces and possibilities, but I don't like its standard implementation either.
[16/6 08:58 GMT] <GbitOptServerline> @twonline: That only works when VSFiler is loaded. The image given is still a mixer raw, it isn't rendered. For example: for videos with non-quare pixel aspect ratios, the image will be off. I personally don't really like VSFilter. The base subtitle renderers have bad color quality already, VSFilter makes it even worse.
[16/6 08:10 GMT] <Krudda> what program is that for twonline?
[16/6 07:52 GMT] <vivan> EVR sucks
[16/6 06:18 GMT] <twonline> But you can capture screen shots (with subtitles) with internal "Save Image" feature, if you use "EVR Custom Pres." Render.
[16/6 03:23 GMT] <ApatheticLoser> @fureimu Thanks! It worked. Going to post your link to the torrent as well.
[16/6 01:53 GMT] <FZed> @mugi If you're using uTorrent just stop the torrent and then right click on it, advanced, set download location and point it to the file. You might have to do a forced re-check afterwards.
[16/6 01:35 GMT] <mugiwaranikyunikyu> can we still seed files from a comletely downloaded torrent that's been transferred to another partition? you know like tell the torrent or something that I just transferred those files to a new place and seed them from there instead of starting all over again?
