Borussia Dortmund chief Watzke: Man Utd was childhood dream for Kagawa
Submitted by tribalfootball.com on Tue, 06/12/2012 - 12:59
Borussia Dortmund chief Hans-Joachim Watzke admits Manchester United were determined to sign Shinji Kagawa.
The Japan international could formally sign for United next week with their post season World Cup qualifying commitments now over.
"With respect, Manchester United did come looking for him," Watzke told the Ruhr Nachrichten.
"He was given the chance to fulfil a childhood dream. But we are not forced to sell anybody for financial reasons."
