However, being one of the most drastic ones, it is also one of the most effective ones and for a very simple reason – you eat very little and your body cannot help but start burning the fats almost immediately. It is however considered to be too restrictive for prolonged periods of time and the experts do not recommend that you keep it for more than a week or two at the most. In fact, it is considered mostly to be a kick-off diet, meaning that it is a diet that will kick off a weight loss regimen that will be quite serious, but not as serious as the 1000 cals diet.
One of the most important things to remember about a 1000 diet is that it is very difficult to stick with it for the simple reason that it involves eating very, very little. Many people find difficulties sticking with it and if you want to do it right, you will really need to commit and put in as much effort as you can. In the end, it will be worth it.
