I have never EVER gotten such amazing reviews on a new court reporter as I am getting on Jill. She first sat in with Reporter A, non RT but excellent and very meticulous reporter. To quote her, "I could learn a lot from Jill." Yesterday Jill sat in with Reporter B. She said she has never seen a student like Jill. Her writing is awesome and she is absolutely, without a doubt, ready to go out on her own.

Rhonda, you should be so proud of yourself and your accomplishments. You are driven, motivated, and have a fabulous teaching theory. I am thrilled you opened the school, but very selfishly, I could use someone of your skills. You have truly created a wonderful school. I have not heard of any other schools of your caliber anywhere in the country. Please continue to send your graduates to me. After 18 years of working as a legal assistant, I knew I wanted more. After researching the court reporting field, I decided becoming a realtime writer was the best way to go. I knew Rhonda as a realtime writer my boss used and knew she was teaching court reporting. I have been with TextStream since its inception and have just recently graduated.

After 30 years as a freelancer, I was VERY discouraged. I attended some realtime seminars, bought the how-to books, and all I really got out of it was a sense of being totally overwhelmed. She (Rhonda) gives you a structured environment and really cares about your progress. It's not just popping in a tape and banging keys on the machine. There's a lot more to gaining speed and progressing than just practicing a tape. I never realized that.

So she's the best. She's the most knowledgeable person I know when it comes to this field. There is no one any better to be teaching you. You will gain so much from Rhonda if you make the change.

This is my second quarter at TextStream. I love it. I am so amazed at how much stuff my old school did not teach me. I have learned so much! Last quarter when I started TextStream I dropped in my speed because we were concentrating on my theory. This quarter we have been working on my speed and briefing things. I have really improved this quarter. It's amazing how having a teacher that helps you really helps. I am so glad I made the switch. It was a big decision to make but it was one I am really happy I made. I definitely feel I am getting my money's worth. The different things that Rhonda has online for us to do and all of the books I have gotten have really helped.

You will LOVE TextStream if you decide to enroll. I have learned so much more from Rhonda. I have learned a lot more about theory, and having her see my writing, she can see my weak spots I now realize how much I was missing at my other school. She has a lot of great practice materials. The school I went to didn't use computers! Oh, my gosh, what a huge disadvantage! Once I started using the steno software, I realized how a lot of my strokes had conflicts.

I don't know what your situation is now, but I guarantee Rhonda will make you a better writer. She is very patient and a great teacher.

I have really enjoyed TextStream. My writing has cleared up and I am passing tests. Rhonda is very good at pinpointing your problem areas and helping you to overcome them. I feel I have learned more in the one semester there than in the last 2 1/2 years at another school. Working with Rhonda and doing the drills she suggests has made my writing so much easier. It's not just about practicing at different speeds. There are reinforcement drills that keep theory and memorization of briefs fresh.
