The Home Builders Association of West Michigan, Inc. (HBA West) is a group of builder and associate members who work together to have our views heard in our state legislature, educate our members on changes with the building industry, promote professionalism, and provide services and group benefit plans to our members.
HBA West is concerned with protecting private property rights, promoting affordable home ownership, and providing a conduit for effective communication between builders and potential home buyers.
The HBA of West Michigan serves the counties of Lake, Manistee, Mason, Oceana and the Western part of Newaygo. Monthly membership meetings are generally held on the first Thursday of every month and take place at different locations around the area. Monthly meetings include dinner while discussions of upcoming events, industry news, organization updates and information speakers take place. The HBA sponsors three major yearly events: The Home & Garden Show (April 27-29, 2012) the Parade of Homes (June 15-17, 2012), and a membership golf outing (Aug 3, 2012). There are also informative seminars throughout the year.
