Harvard Trio next in free Camerata series

The free Camerata Musica concert on Sunday, March 25, will feature the Harvard Trio.

The Harvard Trio will play at the Camerata series on March 25.

The concert begins at 2:30, in the Loucks Lecture Hall of the Salem Public Library, 585 Liberty St. SE.

The Seattle-based trio consists of Maryanne Lacaille, clarinet; Mannfried Funk, cello; and Mayumi Tayaka, piano. They recently completed a tour that included concerts in Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur.

This program will focus around the rarely performed Ireland Trio. Also on the program:  Rick “View From Carew”;  the Beethoven Trio Op.11; and Zemlinsky’s Trio Op.3.

Camerata’s January and February concerts played to overflow crowds; the organizers suggest that guests arrive early.
