Can anyone give a translation of the current storyline?

Points that I barely understood from the trial are:-

Another war has started?

The characters' country is going to lose? (Not again )

And that the characters' are the country's last hope?

Two of the men are prisoners from the southern country brought by the glasses wearing man to the submarine?

I'm I the only one who feels this title is based off of Valkyria Chronicles? Then again, it's not uncommon to do this (.fuck, )

Sorry for crashing your thread, but the title seriously reminded me of Valkyria Chronicles. I'll be going now...
