1. The Dutch ABC Islands
The islands of Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao in the Caribbean are located far from the northern coast of Venezuela, forming part of the Lesser Antilles. All these islands, belonged to the Kingdom of the Netherlands until 2010. Nowadays Aruba and Curaçao are autonomous, self-governing countries of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, while Bonaire has a special status – a municipality of the Netherlands. All three islands are extremely beautiful and magnetic tropical pearls, attracting with their blue crystal clear waters, endless beaches, palm trees and the excellent conditions for rest and entertainment. Not least, the islands boast a reputation as one of the safest destinations in the world. Caribbean islands used to have a reputation of places where crimes and violence are something quite normal and acceptable. The truth is there have been some rather serious crimes and political unrest in Aruba, but the other islands stayed relatively secure and stable. Nowadays, the Dutch ABC Islands score the most points for offering spectacular paradise sceneries and safety.
2. Singapore
Heaven on earth has different faces, different dimensions and pieces of it are scattered in all the directions. A very large and colourful piece of it is Singapore. The name of the city-state of Singapore comes from Sanskrit and means City of the lion. Singapore is considered the purest and green metropolis in Asia. The city is not inferior to modern metropolises – it attracts with its unique mix of skyscrapers, shopping centres and typical local neighbourhoods located on 63 different islands. In this multi-national country are intertwined mosaics of cultures and languages including Chinese, Malaysian and Indian influence. In this dynamic world, rich in colour and contrast, you will find a harmonious blend of culture, cuisine, art and architecture. Singapore is one of the places known for the extremely strict and severe measures taken to reduce crime and abuse. In the sterile city-state corruption is completely eradicated – with higher wages and heavy penalties. It certainly makes Singapore one of the safest destinations for your holiday.
3. Japan
Japan is an island country in East Asia, located in the Pacific Ocean, east of China, Korea and Russia. The history of Japan is characterized by influence from the outside world followed by long periods of isolation. Japan is a country with amazing and very colourful culture. It has always been of interest to Europeans, perhaps because it is very remote and unknown. That certainly makes it very attractive and mysterious. There are many things that deserve to be seen and done during one’s stay in the Land of the Rising Sun. The country has outstanding wealth of natural attractions, architectural masterpieces, temples, where the spirit is elevated on a pedestal, remnants of ancient civilizations, magical food, courageous and disciplined people. Unfortunately the country is not spared from natural disasters and earthquakes and tsunamis there are part of everyday life. But in terms of order, discipline, economic and political stability and safety due to low crime rates, that is one of the best places in the world.
4. New Zealand
New Zealand is situated in the southern hemisphere, in the southwest Pacific Ocean, about 2000 km southeast of Australia. This is one of the most remote and isolated countries in the world. New Zealand is an island nation consisting of two large islands (North and South) and many smaller ones covering a total area of 270,534 sq. km. Great remoteness of New Zealand from the outside world had reflected strongly the local economy. New Zealand is a real green paradise on earth full of many natural phenomena. The country is rich in water – you will find many clear lakes and fast-flowing rivers. High mountains are covered with snow throughout the year and the endless valleys are covered with flowers and flocks of sheep. Today New Zealand is a cosmopolitan country with a population of people from different parts of the world. The country is very attractive because of the large business opportunities, high standard of living, mild climate, the beautiful scenery and the secure way of life it offers for residents and tourists.
5. Norway
Norway is a country of fjords and glaciers, the wooden churches and ski runs. Norway has four seasons with cold winters and cool summers. North of the Arctic zone sometimes sun does not set. In Norway, which some describe as the "Land of the Midnight Sun" you can have a really memorable vacation. The country is endowed with natural resources – oil, fish, forests and minerals – and relies mostly on its oil production and international oil prices to keep its economy stable. Besides that, Norway is one of the safest countries in Europe and all over the world. The area is not a victim of natural disasters, except for very low winter temperatures, which are quite normal for this northern paradise. Norway is a country known for the extremely good standard of living of its citizens, low crime rates and political unrest. This makes Norway a preferred destination for all lovers of winter sports, beautiful scenery and tranquillity.
6. Switzerland
Switzerland is a small intercontinental confederation in Central Europe. Its borders are with Germany to the north, France to the west, Italy to the south, Liechtenstein and Austria to the east. Switzerland holds its neutrality by not participated in any international conflicts since 1815. Despite the lack of natural resources and arable lands, Switzerland is one of the richest countries in Europe. Its resources are tourism, banking and industry. It produces cheese, chocolate, drugs, machinery, watches. One of the most developed industries is tourism – many charming hotels, whose hospitality is well known, are waiting for all the lovers of nature, alpine scenery and snow. This is why holiday in Switzerland is a desire not only for fans of winter sports, but also for admirers of nature, adventures and pristine beauty. Apart from all that Switzerland occupies one of the top positions in the list of the most secure places in the world with very low crimes rates and excellent safe environment for all the tourists.
7. Luxembourg
Luxembourg is a small but glorious country located on the border between Romance and Germanic Europe. Taken the best of both civilizations over the time Luxembourg has built its own style of political and economic power. Luxembourg is often called the "Little Switzerland" – whether due to natural area of its territory with the same name, or because of similarity in architectural and urban terms, or maybe because of the peaceful and somewhat pacified atmosphere that pours from every small and big town. Luxembourg City is one of the richest cities in the world, which has established itself as a serious financial and administrative centre. It is also one of the preferred tourist destinations – cultural heritage and history leave such footprints in the heart of every visitor that make him want to go back there again and again and again – until he is familiar with every corner of the ancient territory of Luxembourg. The small country is worldwide popular for its secure way of living and almost zero level of crime.
8. Iceland
The country has an area of 103 thousand square kilometres and is located on the island of Iceland in the north Atlantic. In Iceland, some of the largest glaciers in Europe are home to the hottest springs on the mainland, and some of the most interesting species such as the Icelandic falcon and sea parrot. Iceland, definitely, is a land where fire and ice live in harmony, creating a truly unique and unforgettable landscape framed in rainbows and mist. Iceland has over 20 active volcanoes that erupt frequently, adding to the mystical landscape lava and ash. It is also home to the largest waterfall on the continent – Gullfoss or "the Golden Falls". Besides being a miracle of nature, Iceland like the rest Nordic countries enjoys an exceptionally high standard of living as well as safety conditions for all its visitors and citizens. That is definitely one of the most secure countries all over the world.
9. Cyprus
Cyprus is the largest island in the eastern Mediterranean, situated south of Turkey. Cyprus is an island of almost infinite variety. Whatever you are looking for, you'll find it in Cyprus. From the breath-taking beauty of the Troodos Mountains to beautiful beaches lining the stunning coastline; from the amazing attractions of rural areas to countless sites of historical and archaeological significance – Cyprus is an island that is worth to be experienced. Cyprus has long been known as sun, sand and sea destination but it is also much more. Walk up the mountain to find yourself lost in the mix of nice fresh air, cool nights, and heavy with the scent of pine trees and wild herbs or plunge into the atmosphere of one of the small villages. That is for sure another destination where your safety is guaranteed. Despite some conflicts with Turkey in the past, nowadays it is one of the safest places with minimum rates of crime and no need to lock the door at night.
10. Denmark
Denmark is the smallest and southernmost Nordic country. It is located in Northern Europe and is bordered by water to the Baltic and North Sea. Thanks to its numerous bridges and ferries it has become a transport centre that connects North and Central Europe. The incredible Nordic scenery combined with beautiful cities full of charm, make the visit to Denmark exciting and unforgettable experience. Copenhagen – the capital of Denmark is the city where aristocratic spirit and sovereign mingle in a strange but fascinating combination. If you want to learn more about this beautiful country, where you will really feel like in a fairy tale, it must be visited at any cost. The last but not least reason to spend your dream vacation there is that Denmark is declared one of the world's safest countries, inhabited by world's happiest and wealthiest people.

Sun-drenched beaches and fresh breeze... I can't help but dreaming of a long vacation at the The Dutch ABC Islands.
