I have set a password on my phone, I have tried over 50 times to unlock it, but it doesnt work. Before, it used to give me the option to change it by typing in my email if I have failed to unlock it numerous times. It doesnt have the option, and I cant unlock my phone. Please help?

There is no way to do so for the device if this could be the technical issue… Report it to the service to get things fixed….
Good luck!
I have a 2gb micro sd card and im thinking of purchasing a 32gb microsd card, will it be able to support it? Whats the highest it can hold?
Chosen Answer:
I know it can be used as a mobile hotspot, but that costs extra.

I’ve got my laptop tethered to my EVO via the USB cable that came with it.
There are two apps that will make this very easy. Either one will do. Just go to the MARKET and download
EasyTether Lite
PdaNet free edition
They work great.
You also have to go to their websites to download and install drivers for your laptop:
Easytether:
http://www.mobile-stream.com/easytether/android.html
(click ‘download desktop drivers for Windows PC’)
PdaNet:
http://www.junefabrics.com/android/
(click ‘Download version 2.42 for Windows or Mac’)
Enable USB Debugging on your phone:
Menu > Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging
I use the free editions, but if you need it, the full edition of Easytether is only .
I know the shift has a keyboard. What are the other differences? Which one should I get? Do any of you guys have one of these? If so please tell me about it.
Chosen Answer:
The 4G has a faster processor (1 GHz vs 800 MHz)
The 4G has a larger display (4.3″ vs 3.6″)
The 4G has a better camera (8 MP vs 5 MP)
The 4G has a front facing camera the Shift does not
I had a 4G (freaking amazing device) but didn’t like the touchscreen so I went back to a BlackBerry 9650.
The 4G has better features but if you want a keyboard the Shift might be a better phone for you.
I’ve been considering this phone since I got a chance to play with one at Radio Shack recently. The only con I’ve found so far looking online is that it has a bad battery life. Are there any other cons to owning this phone? I can’t decide if I want to spend the money on this one or go with a phone I’m familiar with like the Blackberry Bold 9650.
Chosen Answer:
Blackberrys are nice, but they are more of a work phone. If you want a “fun” phone, go for the Evo. Battery life, like any phone, will depend on how you use it. There are plenty of ways to lengthen battery life, and there are several good articles to help you.
Other cons? Um…having a phone that everyone envies? I really can’t think of any other cons. Remember you have 30 days to exchange it if you don’t like it–go for it.
I download and app and it says to kill applications for battery life saving ? Can any one tell me what that mean.
Chosen Answer:
I’ve accidentally taken a screenshot twice now and I’d really like to know how to do it on purpose. I’ve spent a good thirty minutes playing with the phone and looking things up, but I’ve gotten nowhere. If anyone can tell me how to do it, I’d be really thankful.
Chosen Answer:
Hold power first, then tap the home button, the screen will go white and a small note will pop up saying it was saved to the gallery
My pictures save to the phone, by default. I want to save them to my memory card. How do I move them? And then I do I make the memory card my default?
Chosen Answer:
you’ll have to tell it to save all new pictures to memory card instead of internal memory, it’s in the settings.
I want to know Is flashing the HTC Evo Shift the same as the HTC Evo? Like the process because I want to Flash my Htc evo 4g shift to Cricket…..
Plz answer!
Chosen Answer:
I don’t know what that other crazy post was about… but yeah. It should be pretty much the same, most HTC CDMA phones tend to be Cricket friendly.
I’m not sure if your phone is 100% supported but this free flashing program (that supports Cricket) at Http://www.cyberflashing.com has a model listed as HTC HTC that I heard works for HTC models not listed.
Usually to get the Web/Data going though you will have to go into an independent Cricket retailer, and I think sometimes that service runs a one time -60 data setup/finish flashing fee.
