For the past ten years it has been our privilege and pleasure to live at Lost Canyon, to develop this uniquely beautiful property, and to create relationships with our guests that we will always cherish. But it is time for us to move on.

Our present goal is to find new owners who will carry forward the ministry of hospitality, using their creativity and resources to go in directions we might never have imagined. Much good has been accomplished here, and the place is poised to welcome owners with fresh vision and energy. We look forward to sharing the joys (and challenges) such a ministry offers, to seriously interested individuals or groups. For details, please go to "Property Offering" link on the list on the left side of this page.

"Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest."  –Mark 6.31

Lost Canyon is an 210-acre facility located on a spring-fed creek four miles down a country road – 53 miles from the nearest stoplight, 108 miles from the nearest shopping mall, without TVs or telephones. It is very quiet, yet alive with possibilities for quickening of the spirit through contact with God's creation. Our desire is to offer Christian hospitality to the great variety of people who pass through our gates, and to nourish the possibilities for God to be revealed through the portion of creation entrusted to us. We look forward to greeting old friends and new, to sharing with all the love of God and creation's ceaseless flow of disclosure.

We have hosted pastors in need of respite, individuals desiring time alone, couples on honeymoons and 50th anniversaries, church groups on spiritual retreats, groups from other organizations on planning retreats, and all sorts of family configurations. In the summer Lost Canyon is a lively place, sparkling with children's voices. Small family reunions, youth groups, and individual families who want to visit a place where kids can stretch their limbs and spirits are invited to explore an environment that is both adventurous and safe. People come here for lots of reasons; our hope is that they leave feeling better than when they arrived.
