What is Algenist and Is it Really the Secret to Looking Younger?
With all the efforts put into finding beauty treatments, it is rather ironic that the anti-aging properties of Algenist were found by accident. Scientists from Solazyme, a company looking for alternative energy options, were researching microalgae to be used as jet fuel. Once the scientists at Solazyme realized what they had discovered, they knew it had potential in the beauty market. One of the two scientists behind the discovery even admitted that he had never put any cosmetic on his face before trying the anti-aging algae! They formulated the algae into a substance known as Alguronic Acid, which is the core ingredient in Algenist.
