Arts & Entertainment

As an arts venue, Liverpool Lighthouse frequently holds public performances, concerts and events in its spacious 430 seat auditorium, King’s Hall.

As well as welcoming gospel artists to perform, Liverpool Lighthouse also promotes and organises gospel music and gospel arts events throughout Merseyside. These events include business conferences, festivals, training projects and concerts.

Liverpool Lighthouse is a founding member of the M62 Gospel Forum, linking gospel groups and artists along the M62 corridor as far as Hull. Major artists, entertainers and groups have performed and/or recorded at Liverpool Lighthouse, including Jahaziel, Stavanger Gospel Choir, Ken Dodd. Graham Kendrick and the African Children’s Choir, among many.

Gospel Festivals

Liverpool Lighthouse’s dynamic programme of gospel festivals, City Sings Gospel, ran from 2005 to 2008, culminating in the two-week International Festival of Gospel Music, and the Festival of Hope, which was the Group’s contribution to Liverpool’s Capital of Culture celebrations.
