Anniversaries- from paper to platinum
A sad truth today is that most marriages fail after two or three years. Some couples don’t even reach their first anniversary. This article does not intend to dwell into the psychology of the young couples today trying to figure why they split up so fast but rather to help those that have the desire and strength to stay together.
It is the first year since you two have exchanged wedding vows. While most men surprise their young wives with a bouquet of Roses on this day, a Carnation is a much better way to tell her how beautiful she is. This flower has its deserved place in many folk stories and religion.
If you’ve reached your 5th year together, than you should commemorate your loyal love with the Daisy. It is said that this flower was made from the tears of Mary the Magdalene when she watched Christ being crucified.
