SearchLocating your Event ID number
Answer ID 1408
What is an Event ID number? Where can I find it? Why do I need it? Event ID Numbers Each Magic Online tournament is given a unique Event ID number. Whenever you contact Customer Service to request compensation for a tournament that was affected by server problems, excessive lag, or other non-card related issues, you will need to provide this Event Number for that tournament. For problems with card or rules bugs, you'll need the individual Game ID number. We recommend keeping track of the Event ID numbers for all tournaments you enter so you will be prepared if anything happens. The Event ID number of tournaments you have entered but have not yet begun can be found in the appropriate tournament room. Note the "Waiting to start" status, meaning you are in that tournament. If you are playing in either the 8-person Draft or Constructed queues, please note that the ID number of the queue is different from the Event ID number of the tournament that you play in from that queue. In this case, note the Event ID number after the tournament has begun. Once the tournament has begun, the Event Number can be found in the lower right corner of your screen - this is the tab that takes you to that tournament's individual scene. Also, if you are playing in a booster draft or sealed deck tournament, your Event ID can be found in your saved decklists. Find your tournament decks, by default located here in Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USER NAME\Application Data\Wizards of the Coast\Magic Online\3.0\Decks\Tournament Decks - if you cannot see or access this folder, open a Windows browser (like My Documents) and click on Tools, then Folder Options. From the View tab, make sure "Show hidden files and folders" is checked. In Windows 7 and Vista, look at C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\Roaming\Wizards of the Coast\Magic Online\3.0\Decks\TournamentDecks is the location, where USER is the account logged in. The AppDatafolder is a hidden folder, so be sure you have that setting enabled in Windows. The decklists from limited events are saved in the form Match_EventID_Date_Time.dek.
