- 2 plastic applicator bottles
- 20 volume developer
- Hair dryer
- Gloves
- Medium brown Wella hair dye
- Deep conditioner
- Color-depositing shampoo
- Color-depositing conditioner

Mix together one part light red Wella hair dye with two parts 20 volume Wella color developer in a plastic applicator bottle. Shake the bottle for 30 seconds with your finger covering the tip. Begin at the roots and color every strand of your hair. Let it sit on the hair for 30 minutes. The red dye is a filler shade that allows you to color over the blond.

Rinse the dye thoroughly out of the hair with warm water. Blow dry your hair until it is thoroughly dry.

Mix one part medium brown Wella hair dye with two parts 20 volume Wella hair color developer in an applicator bottle. Hold a gloved finger over the tip and shake vigorously for 30 seconds.

Apply the hair dye, starting at the roots and work your way all of the way down the hair. Use your fingers to saturate every single strand of hair. Leave it on for 30 to 45 minutes.

Rinse the dye out of your hair with warm water. Continue rinsing the hair until the water runs totally clear. Apply a deep conditioner to the hair. Let it sit for 5 minutes. Rinse first with warm water and follow with cold water.
