How to Bleach Unsightly Hair

How to Bleach Unsightly Hairthumbnail
Minimize unsightly facial hair with a bleach kit.

When you bleach unsightly hair on a visible body part, you make it virtually invisible to other people without having to shave or wax areas where regrowth may emerge as unsightly stubble. It is important to select a skin-safe bleaching agent, and to follow the instructions on your bleaching kit precisely, or you risk damage to your sensitive facial skin. Bleach unsightly hair once every three weeks for optimal results.

Wash off bleach using cool, running water. Wet the hand towel with cool water and lightly sweep your face to remove any remaining traces of bleach and petroleum jelly from your skin. Repeat the process if hair is not bleached adequately during the first process.

    Tips & Warnings

    • Most body hair bleaching kits contain both activator and creme bleach. Get a kit if at all possible, so you do not need to worry about finding the right bleach and developer on your own.

    • Test your bleach in a discreet area before you use it on your face, to see if your skin has any adverse reactions. If you do not do this, you may break out in a facial rash that is embarrassing.
