One of my picture folders suddenly won't let me manually arrange it. I had all the pictures sorted the way I wanted it and then after I shut off my computer and turned it back on it was in alphabetical order. I tried sorting it again but when I go to another folder and come back to it, it goes back to alphabetical order.
None of my other folders are doing this, it's just this one.
Help??
(i'm using a windows xp if it helps any)

In any folder, at the top, tools, folder options, view tab, check the box that says remember each folders view settings, apply, ok.

find the arrange icon by
and click/uncheck auto arrangeSource(s):
