I'm confused a bit, you want to do this in Windows (explorer)? Since this sorting is trivial, I'm guessing you meant to sort it without grouping (without folders being on top and files after that). Mac OS does this, everything is showin in one big alphabetically sorted list. I'm not sure if it can be done on Windows though.

If you meant to set it globally, I'm not sure if it's possible. Check in Folder Options in Control Panel.

finally i found a solution:
"Click the Name column to change from descending to ascending, then go to Tools > Folder Options > View tab. Scroll down and remove the tick from 'Remember each folders view settings'. Then click the 'Apply to all folders' button. This makes all folders appear with files sorted in ascending order, and saves this view as default.

If you want to keep this default view for most folders and have a different view for other selected folders, leave the tick for 'Remember each folders view settings'. For example, you might have a folder containing photos that you want to view as thumbnails sorted by date. Changing the view settings for this folder won't affect any other folders if you tick the 'Remember' box."
these information tell you verythings(i put these text for try not be confuse with my english), but i go short it in very nice way;)
ok... heres the steps:
1 - put in order\way that you like show the files\folders;
2 - then go Tools > Folder Options > View tab. then scrool the listbox and catch the 'Remember each folders view settings' and unchek it. if the "Apply" button is disable then check and unchek it, then click on "Apply" button.
thanks

you can still set individual folders separately even if you do this, if you need to customize your pictures folder for example.

don't misunderstand me. What i am saying is after you set a global setting, you can change it for individual folders and keep the global for everything else.
