Resort offers fun activities for the entire family!
During your
stay, take advantage of the playground, sand volleyball courts, horseshoe
pits, private beach, walking trails, and of course the lake.
For a treat, take yourself down to our General Store for some
ice cream or candy. If you don't want to cook, we offer pizza,
hot pretzels, smoothies, and more!

Fishing
 Iowa's
natural lakes region offers some of the best fishing around.
Lost Island Lake offers walleye, bullhead, crappie, bluegill,
northern pike, catfish, and yellow perch.
Angling is a very significant part of this multi-use lake.
Bullhead fishing in the spring, early summer and fall can be
tremendous. The panfish fisheries consisting of black crappie
and to a lesser extent bluegill and yellow perch can provide
the angler with variety. The walleye fishing can be superb
in the spring and fall with an occasional northern pike creeled.
Redwood Resort offers boat slip and lift rental for visitors
bringing their boats. Boating is allowed on the lake with no
size limit on boat motors. Public boat ramps have a hard surface
for ease in launching and docking of boats. |

Water Sports

Resort's private beach offers a perfect access spot for exhilarating
water sports! We provide kayak, paddleboat, and canoe rental
as well as boat slip rental if you choose to bring
your own boat.
The cool water of Lost Island Lake offers a great summer cool
off if you choose to go swimming, tubing, or water skiing! |
