   This is the best iteration in the series so far. It still has the great Gears feel, and a lot of value on one disk for everyone who buys this. Single Player- EPIC story, FUN campaign, likeable characters and the gameplay to boot. Multiplayer- I have never enjoyed multiplayer Gears, but this is the first time I have continued to play months after release. Great fun and very balanced gameplay- definitely take some skills and getting used to, but well work the effort. Horde Mode and Beast Mode- again, GREAT fun. In both you kill wave after wave of increasingly stronger enemies- and it is extremely addictive. Overall- Highly recommended and should be considered for GOTY. A must buy for Gears fans and a must try for all others.… Expand

   Without a doubt the game i was most disappointed with this year ... to much of the same ... to little innovation ... still fun just feels like an expansion pack… Expand

   I cannot understand how this game is good. Like, it is just Gear oF War 2 with better graphics and a worse storyline. After Gears 2 I couldn't play another Gears of War, Gears of War 3 offers the same generic gameplay. I cannot not understand what makes Xbox 360 users so dull and boring. Gears of War 3 has a average story, with the characters being unlikeable and 1 or 2 of them feeling like they shouldn't even be in the game I can be stuffed talking about this game, it was all generic and just wanted to put the controller down and play any other game then this. Dissapointment. Really thought it would get me back into Gears of War, but it failed with its same gameplay mechanics as Gear 1 and 2, not fun.… Expand
