| Over 200 arrested in triad crackdown |

| Police say a two-year operation to infiltrate a triad syndicate based in Tuen Mun and Yau Tsim Mong has led to 222 arrests. The force says nine key members are among those detained, while two others are on the run. The syndicate was said to have been active in a number of crimes, including illegal gambling, smuggling illicit cigarettes, and drug trafficking. |
