Electric went off and I lost some data. I have everything set for a backup every five minutes. Where is the bak folder? |

Document Recovery is done automatically. When the program starts again it tries to recover at that time.
There is a temp folder, probably, some where in the Open Office program files. I have never found it. _________________ Steve ~ Tennessee USA

Use Tools--->Options--->Load\Save--->General and check "Always create backup copy". You can use Tools--->Options---->Openoffice.org---->Paths--->Backups to see where backups are stored. If you didn't have the above checked then there are not backup files and you have to depend on document recovery. |
