Accessible data
The most important distinction between the three types of accounts, Limited, Standard and Enterprise, is the date range over which they can search.
Our top level Enterprise account provides access to all records in our database, which runs from November 2006 to the present.
The Standard account provides access to all data for the last 12-months from the date of your search. At any given time, you always have access to the previous 12-months of data.
The Limited account provides access to all data for the last 45-days from the date of your search. At any given time, you always have access to the previous 45-days of data.
Searches per day
This is the maximum number of times you can press the "search" button per day. There is no limit to the number of results generated for each search, however.
For example, a search for imports into a particular U.S. port might show several hundred thousand shipments over a given date range. Your search would return all of those shipments, and only be counted as one search against your daily limit.
Limited, Standard and Enterprise accounts are restricted to 40, 80, and 300 searches per day, respectively. These limits are designed primarily to prevent abuse of the accounts, and are set high enough that they should not affect normal day-to-day use.
