Boot straight into MS-DOS to access your system directly.

When installing Microsoft Windows XP, you have the option of booting to the DOS prompt with or without CD-ROM support. You can also create a DOS-bootable CD. To make an MS-DOS boot CD for XP, download an MS-DOS ISO CD image and burn the image to CD. Once created, use the CD to boot into MS-DOS using the “Boot from CD” option during the Windows startup process.
