Is it much too say that this is the biggest music news in the 21st century? On October 10th,The Beatles/Apple corps and Parlophone/EMI finished editing the phantom sessions conducted from late 1966 to early 1967.

Today, they'll officially announce that the album " Red "is going to be released on January 11th, 2012. Artwork and tracks will be unveiled for the first time.

It is likely that the unexpected new sound source of the Beatles will shocks the world more than preceding "Smile" of the Beach Boys. The producer is Giles Martin. Giles, who is George Martin's son, is also known as the producer of the Beatle's remix album "Love." Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and "5th Beetle" George Martin do editorial supervision.

"New work" of the Beatles "Red" is edited from the original master tape in much the same style as one at that time -- it is provided by the stereophonic recording usual board of 1CD,analog board LP gas, a digital album, LP gas format of iTunes, etc. Furthermore, bonus tracks are recorded on the 2 CDs and 5.1ch mix DVD bundle box set. It includes the highlight of a mono-mix, a demonstration version, and a session, and so on.

According to Ringo's suggestion, the release date was set to January 11th. "Although I wanted to only arrange the number "1", we couldn't finish in time by any means. This trivial idea will be permitted at last next year. I was kept waiting as long as 45 years. " While Ringo shows his usual personality, an interview of the new work announcement was held.

The Beatles performed the recording session in fragments from around November, 1966 before January, 1967, and recorded many wonderful music. It was intended to become a new work following an album "Revolver." However, the master tape was put on the shelf, recording related data were canceled, and the album "Red" finished with unpublished those days. Furthermore, unbelievably, these pieces of information did not leak from the Internet, literature, a bootleg, and the persons concerned, either, up to now. Why is it?

"When Strawberry Fields (- forever) was completed, I thought that we had to publish a new album as soon as possible. Because this song was filled with ourselves of those days. "

It was released in February, 1967 and the Beatles advertized their psychedelia intensely for the first time. Nowadays, it is recognized to be a masterpiece of the rock music, because Its words broken into the past image and visionary sound produce the wonderful harmony. It seems that however, they did not think that the song would be selling so much.

George Martin turns around like this.
"The Beatles were freed from the congested schedules and their whereabouts became unknown before long. At that time, John suddenly visitted me and began to flip and tell music. He was a completely different person to what he had been several months before. Music was beautiful and transitory. I was deeply moved and even thought that it was good for them to stop their live concert. The demonstration of that wonderful Strawberry Fields was completed soon. Then John said, "I would like to make a colorful album using this." Therefore, I determined associating thoroughly. " "Paul tried to make a bettter work than it and he completed Penny Lane. It was also wonderful.I was worried about to the last whether we should make an album. But in the history which you know, we determined that we would make coupling track with Strawberry Fields. "

The sample was already distributed to the persons concerned. I will introduce new songs and the album as calmly as I can. Through the whole ,the album seems to be influenced from the drug music which was in fashion those days. Various musical instrument and techniques , such as reverse rotation of Mellotron, a sitar, a harpsichord, theremin and a tape, makes the incoherent and attractive track which the Beatles have never released.

A sitar and a guitar are involved exquisitely in "Heroin Baby" of George. Paul's "Bloody Mary" is caracterized by the harmony of Baroque harpsichord and the beautiful string play, a joint work of John and Paul "Kick in and Court" impresses the dawn of progressive rock. "Surfin' United Kingdom" is provided by Frank Zappa. ( Paul said, "It was pushed when I met him in private time. So I arranged it considerably.") the controversial work of Paul "Queen of Night" have a profound dignity of Britain in its lilting tune. "An All in the John" used theremin and must had become the first song of Ringo. (Ringo said, "John's strange behavior was made into the song as it was. Though Paul took interest and helped me, I think that I turn down his melody. Billy Sears did not know the friend's kindness yet these days. ") John's "Always" is colored by sound which carries out the space-time trip and made George Martin moved involuntarily. "King's Lover Mikkel" of John contains the words which would have became a big issue. The album contains Many noted tracks of a limit which drives the Beatles into almost ruin. Moreover, the words of each song become more philosophical and aberrant. We can occasionally catch a glimpse of the insanity which don't exsist in other Beatles' works.

The origin of the album title, which interest us, explained by Paul.
"When twisting the faucet in the kitchen of the studio one day, red colored water came out. It's crimson water! I'm surprised and summoned everybody. Then, John looked up at heavens. "It is wine of blessing!." It's a crazy and elaborate joke. Such a joke was always carried out (LOL). Although we want to make this joke into a song, we cannot. ("Red Water."The part of this can be heard in the demonstration version of the box set.) But the "color" remained in my head. And in head of everybody. This became a title of the album after all. The color is just for asserting ourselves in those days. Were there some other reasons? I cannot remember. "

It was seemed that for the songs which serves as a first appearance this time, they intercepted the exterior completely and performed a recording session in fragments about around November, 1966, without a plan. It is because most songs were considered too much excessive at that time. And these sound sources will be completely blot out from the Beatles' record due to a certain scandal hushed up till today.

"I was suddenly called by the royal insider one day in January. I was very much surprised. The dubbing tape of the recording session flowed out by a certain route and they was enraged after hearing it." (George Martin)

The problem caused by Paul's "Queen of Night". On a phon section they sings lightly "the queen is also pleased at night".The words incurred the royal family's displeasure.

"Of course it is not a blame. Thre was our best veneration in the words. I wanted to only sing the queen's frank aspect. However, it was not understood by the stout fellow of a royal family. Not only this song but all other than Strawberry Fields and Penny Lane were confiscated. Since John ,who heard the talk, cooled down completely and suggested, "Forget it. Shall we make another album?" , the plan came to nothing. I was depressed and repented very much. Therefore (the album), "Sgt. Pepper's (- lonely Hertz club band)" was not allowed to go wrong. I wanted to clear our name. At last I answered by "Her Majesty" (tracks of an album "Abbey Road"). It did not regret." (Paul McCartney)

"This subject became the greatest taboo of the Beatles and nobody mentioned it up to now. That wonderful daily experience was completely disappeared. " (George Martin)

Paul explains continuously the circumstances as which these sealed Beatles will see the light of day at last through the time of 45 years.
" An engineer of Abbey Road called me at the beginning of this year. "Paul, there is a tape I've never seen.Various scribbles are carried out with the red pen. Please teach me what this is." I was shocked. Because it is the lost memory. But I was reminded of it soon. Someone surely got back. I told George (- Martin) and Giles immediately. "Do you remember? " "

At last, the excitement cooled down and the master tape which received the penal servitude for 44 years was safely returned to EMI from the royal family.

Giles Martin talked like this, suppressing excitement.
"E-mail came from Paul at unusual time. I was not able to believe my eyes. "Listen to my last selfish request . I want you to produce the Beatles whom you did not know. " Can you imagine how much strain attacked me? I met Paul in a hurry, and heard the tape. I confirmed that the fresh Four in visionary time ran riot just as they likes in it!
