This node has global availability, this means that it is visible on the internet. It is the first global node outside Europe and should help stabilise the Internet infrastructure in the Asia-Pacific region. It has been active since 31 March 2005.

It will be available on JPNAP and DIX-IE via peering with AS25152. Where it announces prefixes in RS-KROOT-TOKYO.

The name servers at this node will respond with the server id kserver.tokyo when queried with
dig +norec @k.root-servers.net chaos txt id.server

We support IPv6 peerings for this node.
