 I've begun my final semester of my MBA program this week and I can't believe how fast time is flying by. I wish it would slow down a little bit, just to get a moment to take it all in.  Nonetheless my time here so far has been invaluable, I am amazed at how many real and genuinely amazing people live in this world, people full of stories, personality and life. People who are just so damn cool in their own way. The most important thing I've learned so far is to always be you and never change for anything because at the end of the day, no one in the whole world is like you.

Something Light

I can't believe how fast time is flying by, I wish it would slow down just a little bit. I had a great weekend, full of good company, good food and good times.  The weather is getting warmer here, so I've already taken out some of my summer dresses and getting away with throwing on just a light jacket.

Rain On Me

It has been raining incessantly here in Barcelona, and by that I mean pouring so it's been difficult to head out and snap some photos.  In the meantime I have begun a fitness routine to get ready for Summer, Click!, any takers?

Bring 'Em Out

 

After spending a week frolicking endlessly through big London city, the first thing I did the next day was hit the beach for some afternoon sun and relaxation.  I haven't worn this cape cardigan for a while, I can't believe how many pieces in my wardrobe go unworn for months on end, and with every new purchase, old pieces go even further to the back of the closet.  Can you relate?  It's so easy to go into a routine of reaching for the same pieces when throwing on an outfit and for this reason, I have decided to hang all my recently worn pieces at the back of the closet to get a proper rotation out of my wardrobe, I'm sure there are some great pieces I've completely forgotten about.

What's That Love?

 

I was back in London this past week enjoying the city and ofcourse all the sweet shops on every corner.  I can't believe how much sweet shops exist there. Every time I visit London I intend on taking endless photos to share with you of both the city and what I throw on while frolicking about, but it's always much easier said than done.  Most of my days are spent in denims and an oversized top (nothing special) and as much as I'd like to snap photos of everything amazing I see, sometimes it's better to just enjoy them instead.  I did however,  snap photos of the best for you!

 

{Simply the best cupcakes I've ever had in my life. This sparkly one, was raspberry cake with raspberry compote filling and was served with a complimentary shot of hot chocolate.  Perfection. If your in London, Cox Cookies & Cake is a must.)

The most important factor of my style is that I'm comfortable and with these harem-style pants I would even go so far as to substitute all my skinny's for them. They are so comfortable and unrestricting, almost like wearing a breezy skirt but with the convenience of being more practical.  They are popping up in most of the upcoming spring/summer collections and are perfect for the warm summer weather to come (can't wait!). They are so versatile, you can wear them casual with a loose tee or throw on some heels with a nice top and wear them for a night out.

Strawberry & Lemon Custard Tart

Yesterday I got a sudden craving for something sweet, fruity and ridiculously indulgent and this Lemon Custard Tart recipe was the perfect solution. I had picked up some fresh strawberries at the Bouqueria and modified the recipe by smothering the tart with sugared strawberries after the custard had set. The result was a savory 'summery' tart and since this was my first time making anything with custard, I was surprised to learn how quick and easy it was to make.
