My Hair Care Routine!

I got asked to do a hair care post so here it is!! This shouldn't be as long as my skin care... LOL

First off... SHAMPOO
When I wash my hair I just use any "specialised" shampoo that I feel my hair needs at the time... for instance... If it's feeling a little dry... I'll buy shampoo for dry hair/split ends. If it's flat, I'll buy one that gives me more volume (though I don't feel that it does... But I try it out anyway lol). If I just dyed it and want to keep the colour longer then I'll get one that locks in colour! I always switch around with these types cos it's where I find I have problems the most!!

CONDITIONER
Ok, conditioner is actually VITAL for me.. I can't live without it!!! My hair just doesn't feel right when I don't use conditioner!! I usually go for the conditioners that nourishes my hair and I usually leave that in for the time I'm in the shower. Like first thing I do when showering is shampoo my hair and then comes conditioning... So I once I put conditioner in I'll clip up my hair and get on with the rest of my shower xD Oh I don't put conditioner on my roots... Only the mid section down cos that's where it's needed most. I find putting it on my roots makes my hair greasy fast...

Brands I usually go for (for both) are; Herbal Essence, L'Oreal and Aussie.

MAINTENANCE
Before drying my hair I almost always use heat spray/serum OR this Moroccon (I think) hair treatment oil that my mum gave me!! Before my mum gave me that I used to use serum for dry hair before drying! Always use the serum/oils when your hair is damp cos it tends to look a bit greasy if you do it AFTER drying... On days I don't use anything before drying, my hair ends up looking really dry!! I hate that!! When THIS happens... I will use a leave in conditioner that I spray all over, also gives my hair a bit of shine :D I don't use this all the time though... And when I use straighteners and curling tongs I NEED the heat protection cos it would just KILL my hair otherwise... I hate the dry look SO much....

Brands I've used for heat protection have been Treseme, L'Oreal and Aussie :)

I tend to wash my hair every other day too, washing it everyday just makes my hair go greasy really quick... And on the days I don't wash my hair I'll use dry shampoo or talcum powder to take away that slight greasiness!!

Brands I like are Batisse and for talc - Johnson's baby powder all the way :P

And that's it! I don't do anything else... I try trim my hair often but I haven't done that in months now.. LOL I'm trying to grow my hair :P But ends are getting SO dry now... :/

Afternoon Tea With Lilian :)

Lilian came down to London on Monday for an internship interview so I came out to meet her :D
I suggested that we'd try out afternoon tea as neither of us had tried it before and all our friends seems to have as we always see their pictures! Another friend had told me about a 2 for 1 voucher for it at Radisson Hotel, so we ended up using that!!

Actually went into the wrong hotel at first cos Lilian was convinced it was that one.. LOL and got told by one of the staff that the hotel we're suppose to be at in just a 2 min walk further down haha *Embarrassed*

Got to the ACTUAL hotel and oh my it smelt so nice.... haha their eating area was actually MUCH nicer than the first hotel we went into. The other one was like a lobby with chairs to wait around in... Not really a dining area... But it seemed a bit more posh than Radisson...

ANYWAY!! Went and sat down to wait for our food, tea was served almost instantly and I think it's unlimited refills!! Cos we ended up getting two pots of tea, no additional charges :D staff was really polite too :)

We couldn't finish all this!!! At the end we had 2 scones and 2 mousse cakes left... Everything else we managed to eat but was just so FULL!! I think with 3 people this would have been a satisfied fullness... Or maybe it's just cos we don't eat a lot...?

So yeh, that was my first time having afternoon tea in London.... Having lived here all my life, I can't believe at 21 is the age I tried high tea for the first time... lol I've also NEVER been on the London eye!!! I seriously need to go on that at least ONCE...

To wrap this up, it was definitely a good first experience and I would definitely go again :{D Very much recommended!!! LET'S ALL GO HAVE TEAAAAA haha

Kingston's Freshers @ Oceana

My first freshers party of the yearrr haha many more to come later :D

Hadn't been out for a while so I thought I'd go to this event!! Invited a few people out but only 2, out of everyone I asked, decided they'd come and that was Keny (I did not misspell his name) and Es! I hadn't clubbed with Ken EVER before this !! So was good xD

Before heading out :D

Didn't get into the club until 12 something!! Had to wait for James to get ready after work as he was gonna get Es in as he didn't have a student I.D !! (Wednesdays are student nights so no I.D, no entry... Unless you know James and go in with him of course... LOL) We went with quite a few people as they were all getting in with James but once we went into the club everyone was just SCATTERED everywhere... I didn't even see James inside the club.. LOL

Took a few pics not that many... Whoever I bumped into inside the club I took pics with xD That I knew of course!! Lmao imagine if I just asked loads of strangers to be in a pic with me... That would be just weird... Who knows, maybe I just will one day for the heck of it HAHAHA

Went into the "Cheese" room at one point which was pretty jokes haha cheesy songs FTW!! S Club 7 - Don't stop the moving came on and I can't believe I still know most of the lyrics... LOOOOL Good times :P

Overall, night was ok. Had a good laugh here and there but it was a bit boring at times.. I dunno why... It was PACKED out... :/ and I kept getting these random stupid guys grabbing my arm and pinching my ass! JHEEZ. Please have some respect for me yo!!

I think at around 2ish people started to leave cos the dance floor in the ball room got slightly emptier so we started to make a move as no one was dancing... And I was just standing on the stage bit dancing by myself... LOL

That was about it really, nothing interesting
