I found this on A Continuous Lean:http://acontinuouslean.com/2008/05/19/take-ivy/ What do you think? It is scans from a photo book taken by a Japanese guy at Ivy colleges in the 60's(?).

I have that book. Got it on eBay for about $25 a few months ago. I find it personally helpful seeing as that's how I dress. The pictures are terrific.

this book's been out of print for years, so unless they've reprinted it in the last 6 months it won't be easy to find

Not to threadjack, but I just want to say A Continuous Lean is really great. I've only been reading it about a month or two, but it is always lovely, and the guys that run it seem really nice (and respond to comments). Recommended reading.

from Heavy Tweed Jacket, a Japanese magazine's early 80s update of Take Ivy. Not as inspirational as the original, but also not as bad as you might think. I especially like all the outdoor wear, and the prevalence of bean boots/mocs. thought i'd go ahead and post them here. apparently the blog may disappear soon
