Faculty Member, Legal and Ethical Studies

Assistant Professor of Applied Ethics

Thesis Title: Taking Character Seriously

About

My research is on moral psychology and moral and political philosophy. I am currently working on two research projects, namely, on the nature and moral status of virtue and on the moral responsibilities of collective entities such as national states and business corporations.
My Ph. D. is from Rutgers University, where I studied under a Fulbright Fellowship. I wrote my dissertation with Edwin Hartman (NYU). I also hold a MA in Philosophy from the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters at the University of Buenos Aires, where I was mentored by the late Eduardo Rabossi.
I am an assistant professor at the Department of Legal and Ethical Studies at Fordham University, in New York City (USA).
I will be on a sabbatical leave in 2011-2012. I will be in Argentina, at the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella School of Law.
