Monthly Usage Quota and Speed Shaping:
Uploads not counted on all ADSL2+ with TPG Home Phone plans.
1GB (Gigabyte) = 1000 MB (Megabyte). Unused usage quota forfeited each month.
1Consists of peak (9am-1am) and off peak (1am-9am) monthly usage quota. Speed will be shaped to 1Mbps/1Mbps for the period in which the monthly usage quota has been exceeded (peak and/or off peak). Uploads not counted.
2Consists of peak (9am-1am) and off peak (1am-9am) monthly usage quota. Speed will be shaped to 256K/256K for the period in which the monthly usage quota has been exceeded (peak and/or off peak). Uploads not counted.

TPG may, on giving you 7 days notice by email, adjust the start/finish (but not the length) of peak/off peak times.
There are four order types to get ADSL2+ with TPG Home Phone:
Active phone line - Keep your existing phone number.
We now support number porting if you remain at your current location.
You can transfer your phone number from your current home phone provider
(Telstra, Optus, AAPT, Primus and others) to TPG^.
Active phone line - Get a new number from TPG.
Inactive phone line - New TPG service connection and get a number from TPG. This involves a site visit.
Transfer of Service - If you have Naked DSL with another provider and you wish to transfer to ADSL2+ with TPG Home Phone. TPG will provide you with a new phone number.

TPG Home Phone Line Rental can be ordered as a bundle with ADSL2+ by new customers or as standalone for $30 per month. Please contact TPG Sales on 13 14 23 if you wish to register for TPG Home Phone Line Rental only.

TPG Home Phone does not support Fax, EFTPOS, Back to Base alarms, Foxtel program purchase analogue modems and calls to 19/1900 numbers.
Once an ADSL2+ with TPG Home Phone plan is purchased:
- Change of plan option is restricted to ADSL2+ with TPG Home Phone bundles only.
- You cannot cancel either component (ADSL2+ or Home Phone). Cancellation will cease both services.
- No min call spend is required.

Important Things You Need to Know:
Availability:
ADSL2+ with TPG Home Phone plans are only available at selected TPG ADSL2+ exchange areas to new customers. ~ Limited coverage availability at selected ADSL2+ with Home Phone enabled exchange areas.
ADSL2+ Speeds:
Optimal ADSL2+ speeds require compatible ADSL2+ modem and filters. Around 70% of TPG ADSL2+ customers can achieve speeds greater than 10Mbps. Actual speeds will vary due to many factors including distance from the local telephone exchange, the quality of the customer's copper phone line, cabling and equipment.
TPG Home Phone Number:
At registration time, you can choose to port your existing number to TPG or have TPG supply a Direct Inward Dial Number (DID) for use with the TPG Home Phone service. This number will be allocated to you based on the address which you provide us at the time of registration.
TPG will make use of your number as a reference point to charge for local calls. TPG will use its best endeavours to supply the Integrated Public Number Database (IPND) with your address details for the purpose of emergency services (000) calling.
TPG Home Phone Deposit:
At the time of registration, we debit $20 that is kept as a Security Deposit and used to pay for all home phone call usage charges. Once your deposit goes below $5, we will debit a sufficient amount from your bank account/credit card to top it back again to $20. If your usage is high, this can occur more than once per month and more than $20 might need to be debited. You authorise to make such debits to your account/credit card. Your service will become inactive if our attempts to debit credit card/bank account to top up your deposit are unsuccessful. Any unused Security Deposit will be refunded back to you once you cancel the service.
Mobile Deposit:
TPG Mobile service is neither prepaid nor post paid. At the time of registration, we debit $20 that is kept as a Security Deposit and used to pay for any excluded or excess usage outside your cap (for Cap Saver and Talk & Text Cap plans) or all usage (for Pay As You Go plans).
Excluded or excess usage means any calls, text or data that go either above your Cap Value or are not included in your Cap Value. Once your deposit goes below $5, we will debit a sufficient amount from your bank account/credit card to top it back again to $20. If your usage is high, this can occur more than once per month and more than $20 might need to be debited. You authorise us to make such debits to your account/credit card. If you do not exceed your Cap and do not incur any charges that are excluded from your Cap Value, your deposit will not ever be debited. We will send you SMS messages about your usage and the debits during the month. Your service will become inactive if our attempts to debit credit card/bank account to top up your deposit are unsuccessful.
Any unused Security Deposit will be refunded back to you once you cancel the service.
Payment:
Monthly access charges are billed monthly in advance.
Payment options are Direct Debit or Credit Card.
IP Address:
All ADSL2+ with TPG Home Phone plans come with Static IP address.
Free IPTV:
Free TPG IPTV Trial requires a minimum speed of 3.5Mbps. Number of free channels available for viewing is subject to exchange capabilities. Free TPG IPTV Trial does not include subscription based channels. To register please visit www.tpg.com.au/iptv once your ADSL2+ connection is active.
ADSL2+ with TPG Home Phone
TPG offers ADSL2+ with Home Phone service to customers who currently have:
An active phone line - Customer must be able to make AND receive phone calls, or
An inactive phone line - A phone line has been connected to your house (i.e. you have phone sockets), but no current phone service uses those sockets to make or receive calls.
An active Naked DSL service with another provider - Transfer your existing Naked DSL service to ADSL2+ with TPG Home Phone.
Provision of ADSL2+ with TPG Home phone is subject to Service Qualification Check upon registration.
Your ADSL2+ with TPG Home phone application takes approximately 10 working days however in some cases can take up to 20 working days.
