For Chrome: How To Change The Color Combination of Any Website

Have you ever felt the text on a website to be illegible due the bad color combination of the text and the webpage’s background? Or have you ever thought that you would like even more one of your favorite websites if it had a different color scheme? If you answered yes to both those questions, there is a good chance that you were not able to do anything about the situation. That will change once you finish reading this post.

We have found a great tool for computer users who face the above mentioned scenarios; this tool is fittingly titled Webpage Decorator.

Webpage Decorator is a browser extension for the Google Chrome internet browser. When this extension is installed, it places an icon inside the address-area of the address bar, not outside it.

Whenever you are on a webpage of which the color scheme you are not comfortable with, click on this icon and you will be shown a drop down window like in the image below.

In this window you can see various color attributes of the currently open webpage. Starting for the top, you can see the background color, the color for normal links/URLs, the color of links you have already visited, the color of normal text, and the family of fonts used. Click on any attribute to change it. For example, following is what you will see after you click on the background color option:

In this window you can choose from the given colors or set the sliders yourself and define your own RGB color. For example I changed the background color of my Facebook from white to yellow, this is how it looked
