残念 Fly Gyro ! 誌は廃刊となった。
最新号が届いたが No.9 Mar/Apil 〜The last issue とある。
No.8 が Nov/Dec 号で 本来の No.9 号 Jan/Feb 号は発行されなかった模様。（May ,2002）
注記 ２００２年９月現在ホームページは存続しており 冒頭に Mel 婦人と娘さんからのコメントがある。

本の体裁や内容の構成は 初版とほぼ同じ。
前書き〜「はじめに」 が追加されて 図書の位置付けというか ハンドブックが発行された背景が明確になっている。
大小の間違いが訂正され 使用している用語にも注意が払われている。
「基礎知識および安全操作」については 東 昭 東京大学名誉教授に監修いただいたそうである。
