Group: Newbie Posts: 7 Member No.: 1,426 Joined: 12-January 06	First and foremost I'd like to give my thanks to Henry/Sepiroth for helping me gather cosplayers for this event. If you guys watch Cartoon Network you'll notice that they are hyping the season premier of Power Rangers Dinothunder. To coincide with its launch, Cartoon network, Bankee Trading and Sentai Manila will be hosting weekend long activities starting this Saturday May 6 in SM malls. I posted a while back that one of the activities included in this event is a cosplay contest with a Sentai/Tokusatsu theme. Sadly due to budget restraints the contest was taken out. Instead, one of the activities included we is a live show and meet and greet involving the Dino Thunder Rangers. Toei, the studio which produces the Sentai series in Japan lent bankee all five of the Dino Thunder costumes (yes these are the official costumes not fan made outfits. ;D) for the show. With Henry's help we held a small audition for cosplayers who would be willing to wear the suits. 3 cosplayers Jin, Kel and Rayson had the privialge of wearing three of the suits sent by Toei. I myself had the privilage of trying out one of the suits today and for a Sentai fan it was quite an experience. Hehe this is going to be the first and only time I will be wearing the suit as I will be passing it on to another suit model for the weekend shows. Wearing the suits is no joke as its hot and uncomfortable if you're not used to wearing closed costumes. I prefered to stay in the sidelines directing the mall shows.Still it was an unforgetable experience as I was able to experience what it feels like to be a Sentai hero for one day. The Dino Thunder event will start on May 6 Saturday 1 pm in SM Manila and will be ongoing on weekends in other Malls. (May 7: SM Megamall, May 28, Rockwell, June 23 Sm fairview, June 4 Glorietta. Event will be until June 11. Mall schedules will be updated) We hope you guys can support this event. There will be other activities aside from the show like toy displays, fan arts and video screenings. More info can be found in the Sentai manila message boards. "This event deserves two thumbs up!!! ;D " Abarekiller/ White Dinothunder Ranger goofing off Group pic!!! Had to give up the suit (for now???hehehe) so I could direct the stage show. Guys watch out for our stage show on may 27 and June 10. Its gonna be a blast! There will be a short meet and greet session with the rangers at SM Megamall 2:00 pm toykingdom and 4:00 pm Toyworld.
