It contains: Graduate School of Frontier Sciences, Institute for Cosmic Ray Research, Institute for Solid State Physics, Center for Spatial Information Science, Center for Climate System Research, Research into Artifacts, Center for Engineering, High Temperature Plasma Center.
The university has a staff of 2675 teachers, 133 Readers, 3342 staff and 1315 administrative tasks researchers. As the number of international students is quite high, as 2103 students from around the globe pursue their studies at this university in Japan.
