Phil Mickelson is planning to practice with a 2-iron this week at Congresional in preparation for next week's U.S. Open. Mickelson said the 2-iron, a Callaway prototype that he's had for 5 or 6 years, has finally been tweaked to deliver just the results he needs for the season's second major.

In preparation for the U.S. Open at Congressional, Titleist tour van staffers worked with their players to make sure each had a backup driver that was just right.
