Traditional rendering suffers from inherent problems due to modern construction practices. Inconsistent sand and cement mixes, addling, shrinkage and crazing are liable to occur as insufficient time is allowed between coats. Masonry paint is then applied affecting the renders ability to breath. This traditional method of Rendering and Decoration requires a trades person and their assistant visiting the same area on four or more separate occasions, costly in time and manpower. Now the same finished article can be achieved with only one or two visits depending on weather conditions.
Over the years render technology has moved on, Factory batched through coloured render systems represent a breakthrough product that can be applied on to a number of different substrates subject to manufacturers specification. Carefully selected colours and aggregates make up the range of Renders that produce a decorative finish that can be scrape finished or textured, giving years of trouble free, minimal maintenance.
Acrylic and silicone thin coat renders represent a very customisable product, with thousands of colours and a number of finishes.
Spray Applied Rendering offer the most efficient and cost effective method of rendering. Smaller areas may be hand applied.
