He was, after all, the man who oversaw the September 11, 2001, attacks. With bin Laden gone, the question now becomes "What happens to al Qaeda?" Within hours of bin Laden's death, questions began to emerge about who would take the helm of the organization and whether it would create an opportunity for other Islamic organizations to step up. "Al Qaeda is weakened. But it doesn't mean that the United States has no challenges," Steven L. Spiegel, director for Middle East development at the University of California Los Angeles, said early Monday. Body dumped in the sea? Hang on – Al Jazeera reported just a couple of hours ago that the body was being held at a US army base and that reporters were being allowed to go in and view the body. If they'd dumped the body, they did it in the last two hours. Something VERY suss is going on here.

It is irrelavent who ordered what and when. What is important is that he is dead regardless of who made the call. I believe so...I think Osama Bin Laden died many years ago. To keep him alive is one of the reasons going on with the Bush's War on Terror strategy with more poor young US military dead and mutilated bodies in the list of victims of this strategy. Mission Accomplished has never been accomplished. You can keep a fake Osama DNA sample (taken from some of his relatives, if possible), "bury" him at sea to "respect" the Muslim tradition (Did Osama allow those NYC Tower Muslim victims to be also buried at sea?), and then you announce the excellent "killing" of a fake Osama.
