On March 24, 2011, a small unmanned drone flew over and photographed the crippled Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear plant, giving a bird's eye view of the damage.   (12 total photos)

Regarding nuclear plant 3, a Chinese scientist commented that there was already a core meltdown... that the explosion was too powerful for a simple hydrogen explosion, and the plutonium fuel was released. This already seems to be surpassing Chernobyl, and if the Japanese would allow it, other nations should help them.
