次の文を英訳してください。
新学期が始まったというのに、寮の静けさは意外だった。寮の奥の方で誰かの歩く気配が微かにしたと思うと、すぐに風の音に紛れてしまった。
昔はどこかでﾗｼﾞｶｾの音楽や笑い声やバイクのエンジン音が響いていたのに、今はそういう生気に満ちた音がすっかり掃き清められたようになっていた。

It's quite a surprise that the dorm was silent though the new school term has started.
As soon as I felt someone walking in the back of the dorm, it's soon lost in the sounds of the wind.
Formerly, though I frequently hear music from radio-cassette recorders, laughter and roars of bikes'engine noises from somewhere, now, it seems the lively sounds like them have been thoroughly swept away.
