Problem with the Printers

Cannot print to cannon imagerunner

cannot print to cannon imagerunner 1023. got an a message on the print log NG(#0853)

  1. ImageRunner 1023iF
    Networked, WEB interface works, ping works, will not print.
    Error message in log:
    1009 Test Page user 0 x 0 10/31/2008 17:02:53 NG(#0853)

Hi,

I found a solution for this problem on an Canon IR 1022 in a russian forum (thanks Google language tools)

The solution was, not to use the PCL5 driver, but to download and install the UFR / UFRII drivers from the Canon support site. With this drivers, everything works fine.
