My apologies to the Japanese!
I got an email from a Japanese that follows pfdc, he feels sorry that we got angry about what Hasebe said and explained it was a big misunderstanding or a lie from Korean site.
I should've known better, Japanese are truely fair and polite people. My uncle lives in Osaka for 35 years now and has a Japanese wife
Again my apologies for believing the article and posting it on pfdc.
Here's the email, please read carefully:
"Dear Shahin k 89,
I am a Japanese man and accidentally came across the thread at Persian Football Forum,
and I was totally surprised that there is a complete misunderstandig about what Hasebe said.
I watched on T.V. in Japan, and saw his interview just after the game with Qatar.
The Interviewer asked:
" Which team do you want to play with at the semifinal?"
Hasebe answered:
" Iran and Korea, both are tough teams, no way it would be a easy game for us. whoever may come to semifinal.
Today we are in a good mood (after winnig against Qatar), we try to keep this mood and play further. Thank you"
This is what he said at the Interview and broadcasted on T.V. in Japan.
Threre is no mentioning such word: "dirty"
Then where does it come from, this misunderstanding?
I wonder and took a look and found:
I saw at the the Korean Newspaper's article in Japan ( so it is in Japanese):
Maybe the Koreans want to hear that Korean team play fair than other teams and Japanese players admit this fairness.
I do not want to say something bad about Korean people, so I have to say I am not sure why and on whcih Interview this article was written down.
I would like to inform you of the truth, because I do not want that the Iranian people feel offended with such misunderstanding.
I am so sorry for your feeling. Besides I would like to add one thing,
In Japan in general, the team Iran are looked on as a tough and good team in Asia, and so far as I know,
No one mentioned Iranian team as "dirty" on T.V. or in the Newapaper.
I just wanted to tell you the truth about Hasebe's saying,
Because I feel so sad, that Iranian people feel offended and get angry. We want to see a good play,
Of course I want to see the Japanese team wins, but it is not the most important one, the most important one is to watch a good play between
two good teams. That's what a football fan want to watch at the play.
I wanted to post this on the forum but I do not know the way, so if you post this and tell your friends in Iran,
I would appreciate very much!
To dear Iranian football friend, from a Japanese football fan.
Yours, A***a from Tokyo"

wow big respect to Japanese people and this specific Japanese fan.
The passion and pride he has for Japanese people is admirable and is a true example of how 99.9999% of Japanese people are.
I personally know that I would not be bothered to join a Japanese forum and send a email to a Japanese user to explain a misunderstanding of a news event about Iran.
As i said, big respect, and as Shahin K said, now I respect Japanese people more

This is part of the Korean side's mind games. They want to start a fight between their rivals the Japanese and Iranians who have good relations with one another in footballing matters and are allies with one another in the AFC, in order to create distractions for both sides.

tough is a better word than dirty but to the clean east asian football tough many actually mean dirty! anyways, it looks like koreans are on a psychological mission against iran and things they want to say, they say it from japanese mouth!

I never replied to that thread because I felt something was wrong. No way a Japanese player would call an entire nation dirty, they have more class than that.
