Jared Loughner on Video: 'This Is Genocide in America'

The man behind the camera walks through a dark campus parking area toward the school.

"All right, so here's what we're doing. We're examining the torture of students. We're looking at students who have been tortured, their low-income pay in two wars. The war that we are in right now is currently illegal under the Constitution. What makes it illegal is the currency. The date is also wrong."

So begins the rambling video tour of Pima Community College that campus police say got Jared Loughner suspended from the school last fall. Administrators told him he could not return without a mental evaluation proving he "does not present a danger to himself or others."

Loughner is accused of shooting U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords in the head at a "Congress on Your Corner" event last Saturday, critically injuring her and killing six people.

The video was obtained by the Los Angeles Times after a public records request and posted Friday on the newspaper's website.

Loughner is not visible in the video, but a campus police officer who saw it on YouTube "positively recognized the voice and the reflection in the window" as Loughner, the Times reported, quoting a school police report. College police officers then delivered a letter of immediate suspension to Loughner at his parents' home, the police reports said.

As Loughner walks along the campus, he encounters a man emerging from a campus building.

"How's it going?" he asks, then adds: "Thanks for the B. I'm pissed off."

"What's that?" the man responds.

Loughner heads up a stairway, chuckling.

"I lost my freedom of speech to that guy," he says. "And this is, this is what happens. And I'm in a terrible place. This is the school that I go to. This is my genocide school, where I'm gonna be homeless because of this school."

He chuckles again and then adds: "I haven't forgot the teacher who gave me a B for freedom of speech."

Loughner continues into the cafeteria ("where they make illegal transactions"), past the bookstore ("they're controlling the grammar"), and to the campus police station.

"This is the police station, this is where the whole shaboozey goes down with illegal activity," he says, adding: "If a student is unable to locate the external universe, then a student is unable to locate the internal universe."

As posted on YouTube, the video was titled "Pima Community College School - Genocide/Scam - Free Education - Broken United States Constitution." Campus police have said it was made shortly after an officer removed Loughner from a biology class because of a disruptive outburst.

"This is genocide in America," Loughner says in the video, which lasts a little more than three minutes.

It ends: "Thank you. This is Jared, from Pima College."
