"Jason Isaacs in 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I.'"
ReplyThats not Jason Isaacs...
Its Rhys Ifans as Xenophilius Lovegood.
Good catch! It's fixed.
Jason Isaacs has played Lucius Malfoy since the first film.
It looks like the picture with Hedwig he is letting her go. Which is not what happens in the book.
ReplyUm, maybe he's just sending her on a message....
Please don't nitpick the pictures when the movie isn't even out yet!
The movies have never went by the book, so if you're expecting that then don't waste your money and go see it. I have finally came to the conclusion that I have to watch the movies as a story of their own, not as the book come to life.
ReplyAlmost like Lord of the Rings. Its all about adaptation and trying to find the essence of the story rather than chalking out 100 hours of movie on dvd.
Totally agree with you; I see the films as completely separate from the books. They have the same characters and similar plots, but in the end, the films don't give the whole story at all. The fifth and sixth were by far the worst, and I shudder to think how butchered the seventh will be.
We are sick of all the witchcraft our children are being taught.
ReplyThis series of books doesn't teach witchcraft. However it does teach good from evil. And it teaches to accept people who are differant. Such as coming from diff backgrounds and societies as well as races. Sorry you feel the way you do and have missed out on some very good literature.
Aaahahahahaaaaa!! Seriously? You think Harry Potter is teaching kids Witchcraft? You need to come down from your cabin in the hills, brush your tooth, dust off you best homespun dress and head to the nearest library to look up the definition of FANTASY FICTION.
These movies aren't teaching your children witchcraft. There are far worse things on tv every night(so called children's programming)and I bet your children get a healthy dose of that every day. Teachings of any kind begin at home.
TO Sunshine who said "We are sick of all the witchcraft our children are being taught." You should name yourself Dreary Day instead of Sunshine. For some reason, you think of these movies as being real. I tell you what, Sunshine, why don't you look at all of the movies, pick out a spell or two and try them. When they work, you let me know. Hey, I bet you believe in burning people who study science, technology and astronomy. You don't know where reality ends and fantasy begins.
I understand what you mean by your comment Sunshine and to some degree I agree. The movie is teaching to seek other means to either get revenge and live a lazy life. We need to look to God as our means of support and consolations not magic.
Seriously? Who exactly are the "we" you are referring to? You sound like a paranoid delusional person who in turn is making their child as deluded as you, poor kid. The Harry Potter series are wonderful books for children. It's called FICTION for a reason, as its FICTITIOUS!!! Have you ever tried to point a branch and say 'lumos'? I bet a light did NOT come out of the end!
Ahhhh human ignorance at its best!
And you there with the agreement, people can love and worship God and still read, seriously get out of the dark ages people!
grow up I am catholic here and why dont you get into the 21 century, I hate to see what you think of the wizard of oz...grow up and realize its just fiction, sort of like parts of the bible.
Ok, Sunshine:
As soon as you find a unicorn hair, dragin heart-string or pheonix feather and figure out how to put it into a stick so I can cast a spell mentioned in the books and movies I'll stop enjoying these fictitious tales. Because that's how they do their magic in these fake, made-up worlds.
Rent a clue for a day, Sunshine. You're anxiety about these stories is disturbing. Actually, the fact that you can't distinguish between reality and fiction is disturbing. Your anxiety is troubling. And, your anger is misguded and frightening.
Witchcraft? It's a fantasy movie(A MOVIE AS IN NOT REAL)you idiot how is that teaching anybody witchcraft?
GET A LIFE YOU MUPPET!!!!!!!!!!!!
