  • My hopes for the year 2011 are simple, though some will view them as simplistic and unrealistic. A world where each of us is allowed our beliefs free from the criticism and ridicule of others. The entire world would be a better place if the true meaning of the saying "live and let live" was adopted by all human beings. If people were truly able to apply the message behind this saying, not only would the world be a less violent place it would be a place that would foster thoughtful consideration rather than anger towards those we view as extremely different from ourselves. This message of peace and acceptance would set the stage for our children to never again hate based on religion, race, culture, or religious differences .I also pray that those who suffer unjust financial hardship due to the economic mess left by the last administration of this country find some relief and profitable employment in the near future. For those who may care who posted this, I am female, white, and 50y.o. Happy New Year to all!

  • I wish my Husband could come home from Iraq, and I wish that I didn't have to go back to Afghanistan.
