Windows comes with certain mouse cursors as defaults. What many people don't realize, however, is that you can change them to something more to your taste. There are tons of alternative mouse cursors available. You can find some right within Windows and you can find many others on the Internet.

- Click on Start, then on Setting, and then click on Control Panel.
- In Control Pane double-click on Mouse.
- In Mouse click on the Pointers tab.
- If you click on the drop-down menu you'll see an array of different mouse cursor sets that come with Windows.
- All the aspects of a cursor set are shown along the left-hand side.
- When you've selected the cursor set you want just click Apply and then click OK.
- You can find a wide range of animated cursors on the Internet that you can install.
